In the world of investment management, success is built on trust, and trust is built through communication. AXA Rosenberg, a global equity portfolio management firm, called on Helium to create an online presence that will attract new customers and build the confidence of existing ones.
 
Established in 1985, AXA Rosenberg provides quantitative global equity portfolio management services to institutional investors around the world. With offices in the US, Europe, Japan, and Singapore, AXA Rosenberg manages over $13 billion in domestic, international, and global equity portfolios for pension funds, foundations, government entities, and high net-worth individuals around the world. The company also offers two families of mutual funds for US and European individual investors.
 
AXA Rosenberg's goal was to increase client satisfaction by improving the company's three public websites and creating a secure extranet for institutional clients. The project involved two primary components. The first was the development of three public websites: AXA Rosenberg's corporate site (www.axarosenberg.com, in both English and Japanese versions), the U.S. mutual fund site (www.axarosenbergfunds.com), and the European mutual fund site (www.axarosenbergequityalpha.com). The second was the development of a secure, private extranet to provide institutional clients with personalized financial reports and other specialized information.

THE SOLUTION

Helium worked closely with AXA Rosenberg's internal staff to define a technology platform for the websites and extranet that met all the client goals. The platform had to be compatible with the company's existing technology infrastructure, offer high performance, provide simple content management for business users, support multiple languages, and be efficient to administer. After identifying the optimal platform, Helium worked with the design partner (415 Productions) to ensure that the site design was compatible with the client goals, architected and implemented the sites, and trained AXA Rosenberg staff to manage site content and perform administration.
 
To power the extranet, Helium designed and developed systems for account management and report generation. AXA Rosenberg's institutional clients often have a complex set of users who require different types of access to account information. Helium designed and implemented an elegant and powerful account management system that is secure, reliable, extensible, and easy to manage. Helium also worked closely with AXA Rosenberg staff to create a financial reporting system that automatically the generates dozens of report types that AXA Rosenberg's demanding clients require.

RESULTS

AXA Rosenberg's web presence now consists of a family of integrated public websites in two languages and a powerful, secure client extranet. Clients, prospects, and partners now have access to all the information they need, when they need it, in the form that is most useful to them. All of this is deployed on an efficient, easy to manage platform that performs excellently now and is ready to grow as the company's requirements change over time.
